The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Deity and person of the Holy Spirit (Acts 5: 3-4). He convinces sinners (Titus 3: 5) and lives in believers (Romans 8: 9). He is the representative through whom Christ baptizes all believers in his body (1 Corinthians 12: 12-14). He is the seal by which the Father guarantees the salvation of believers until the day of redemption (Ephesians 1: 13-14). He is the Divine Teacher who is the heart and mind of believers wisdom and gives insight when they study the Word of God (1 Corinthians 2: 9-12). We believe that the Holy Spirit is completely sovereign in the distribution of spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12:11). But all these gifts come from one and the same Spirit. And He gives everyone what He wants and in the way He wants. Because a body is one whole, it consists of different parts of the body. All those body parts together form one body. It is the same with Christ. Because we are all immersed in one Spirit, so that together we became one Body. It does not matter if we are Jews or of another people. It also doesn't matter if we are slaves or free people. We are all full of the same Spirit (1 Corinthians 12: 4-11; 2 Corinthians 12: 12; Ephesians 2:20; 4: 7-12).
